So last scribe was from Katherine, we hadn't found the "hot springs" yet.....what a magic place, I could have floated around down there for days.
Down amongst the pandanus palms and Melaleucas, in crystal clear water that had some flow to it. You could use it like a swim spa.
The we were off again towards Darwin, there was a lot of burning off on the verges most of the way, so not that scenic. We had a brief stop to look for crocodiles in the Victoria river (no luck). Our place to stay is about 20 mins drive out of Darwin central, nice little place with a pool that gets a work out by us.
Darwin is lovely, bigger than expected(Greg, you would be surprised) we have been doing the touristy things, and going to Gallery, museum, the WWII tunnels etc. We spent a morning at the waterfront, where they have a "wave pool", the boys just laughed their heads off trying to stay on tubes.
Thurs night we took in the Mindil markets, Spencer had a go at whip cracking, and is now the owner of a great whip, that will get a lot of use back home. Also had to purchase a croc tooth necklace, par for the course.
Jonah and I were in seventh heaven with the choice of foods from all nations, which made for a very difficult decision for dinner -Great markets.
Off this morning on a boat trip on the Adelaide river to get very up close and personal with some crocodiles, they are spectacular creatures. It truely was money well spent, they are enormous.
Next stop Kakadu.
