Another day is required to catch up with the notice reading, and brave the freezing cold pool. The notice said at the end "have a nice day" - for me this meant fixing my shoes by the pool. I ignored the 'sharp object' reference (luckily I got away with it).
Liz did the usual swim, I was under orders to say when the 30 minutes in the pool was up. After 10 minutes she asked the time "only been in five minutes". Time checks were requested frequently each time I underestimated the time whilst Liz was steadily turning blue. In the end she cracked and got out.
It is a lot cooler down here at night when compared with Darwin. Once we get used to the heat in Darwin again Alice Springs (next stop) in the center can get down to just a few degrees at night. We have to camp down there as it is even more expensive.
Australia has been a lot better once we got out of the cities, less people to tell you what to do. People have also got more friendly, especially the older folks or grey nomads as they like to be called.
Went on a couple of walks, the first one we saw a croc and wierd birds and the second I went up the hill to get a good view of the lake and see the red cliffs turn red in the setting sun. If only my little lamb was with me (she was doing woman things).
