Goodbye Guatemala hello Honduras! We arranged for a shuttle to take us to Copan in Honduras - Liz enjoys the relative luxury of these. However when we got to the meeting place all we could see was this very knackered mini bus, giving us the initial feeling that today could be more eventful than anticipated. Just out of sight was the real one that had luxurious seats.
Good roads through beautiful coffee growing countryside lay ahead. Liz was beaming, well at least until a very ignorant French woman pocked her and beckoned at the window. We took this as meaning can you close it a bit please but nothing came put of her mouth.
After another slick border crossing we changed all the Guatemalan money to Honduran. Unfortunely we forgot that we still had to pay for the shuttle so had to change some of it back when we got to Copan - oops.
Copan is sleepy, after we found somewhere to stay and eat, we had a much needed siesta.
Bad news - our much loved cat Emily has past away. We both were very upset and couldn't face going out for something to eat: crisps, wine and rum gave us some comfort.
