Liz was not well so staying another night was out of the question. We both felt that we saw enough and needed to see a few more places before Vegas.
We headed out of Yosemite visiting places on the way. First on the list was to see an area where mature sequoais could be seen. One dead tree had a road through it!
We took highway 120 from the park through arid but very beautiful scenery. The road was brill, I am bored of busy multiple lane highways. This road had amazing dips and humps, like a roller coaster you were pushed into and out of your chair.
After a long day driving east we entered Nevada and stopped at the first place called Tonopoh. This is real wild west, we are staying at a really cheap place called the Clown Motel, that strangely enough has clowns everywhere and is next to a cemetery that looks like the ones in the western films.
