Early start today, we both woke at 6am. Writing this at 4am in Paris on 29th - slept since 7pm last night. Keyboqrd is in French layout so it taking a long time to type. Arrived in London around 7am. Clean, green and felt like home except with great character buildings. Checked in early to a "smoking room" but it ok, had shower which was great. Walked to St Pancras. Been everywhere, running around for two days. Empire State and Statue of Liberty were good but the Museum of Natural History was awesome. Same as Night at the Museum movie, could have spent three days there. It's been about 38 degrees here, really hot and smelly. About to board an overnight flight to London - woop woop NOT!!! Slept well as very tired after big trip. Up and on the go to see as much as possible, did all loops bus tour of upper and lower Manhatten, open top bus with great guide on second bus, lots of interesting info. Went to see Statue of Liberty on liberty island along with 1000s of other tourists, ate on the run street vendors hot dog with sauerkraut. Went up the empire state building at night for a lovely view over the city with all the lights. Had pizza for tea...

Well we've done the big leg, Mark was excited about the travel, now he's well over it!! both got very swollen feet and minimal sleep, lots of people, huge airport, awaiting our connecting flight to New York, another 5 and a half hours of travelling wahoo!! ha ha All good though, yeah for the stags bringing the shield back home, well done boys.
