Now with the biggest part of our journey done, it is just two small flights to get home to Invers, now we are back in the country we are eager to see our families. Bit of a hang around Auckland, after checking our bags in we had a short walk to the domestic terminal, with the dark sky turning to light very nice to be smelling fresh clean air again, and funny to be coming back to spring, after leaving at the beginning of winter. Short flight to Christchurch, just over an hour, quick change of planes without too much time to spare in the new revamped part of Christchurch airport, very posh! very ChCh! Then on the bomadier to Invers, just an hour flight. As we were getting off the plane we could see a gaggle of people waving and holding signs in the window, I think the staff at the airport thought maybe the royal family were coming to visit, much to their disappointment it was only us ha ha. How awesome to see Mum and Dad, Mark's mum and dad, and Mardy and Cath, Ronan and Keira and Sharon and Ethan waiting to greet the best welcome home present you could get!! Luckily for the kids we had a backpak full of chuppa chups to make them even more hyped up! Beautiful to see all the blossoms out in full bloom, yay to be home to paradise
