A long flight ahead of us today, but no rush to get up and going as don't have to be at airport til mid morning, so after breakfast, we had a lovely wander down to the lake and around Zurich for the last time. Then caught the tram and train back to the airport, the usual long wait, and then on the plane with Swiss airlines around 1pm for the 12hr flight to San Francisco. Resonably good flight, but neither of us could sleep as it was day time for us, watched a few movies (what else to do on a plane), the bonus of flying with Swiss is the chocolate they give you very yummy. Got to San Fran about 6ish we were already late and then it took an hour to get picked up by the shuttle, which made for a very grumpy Debbie! Thankfully it was only a 20min trip to the hotel, which is right in the heart of town, adjacent to union square. We were too b*****ed to go out exploring, so had some dinner in hotel and were both in bed asleep around 9pm!! what nanas!!
