Noosa is a gorgeous holiday town. Difficult beach for surfing, but we had fun trying. Had to cut our surfing short though because Tora got swept onto the rocks and bashed her foot! Went hiking along the coast and through the national park. Also went kayaking up the Noosa River in the everglades.

Brisbane is a really pretty city. Been exploring the many botanical gardens. Great shopping in the CBD + good nightlife - especially over St Patricks Day! Took a bus to the top of Mt Coot-tha which overlooks the city - great views but it was very cloudy. Also had lots of rain, so we've gone to the main museums and art galleries. Today was really hot and sunny though, so we went sunbathing on the man-made beach in the South Bank Park.

The Gold Coast, Queensland.First went to Coolangatta. Great beach but thats about it. The weather was bad so it was EXTREMELY BORING!!!! Spent only 2 nights there. Then went to Surfers Paradise = beautiful beach + shops and nightlife. Stayed 5 nights in a really social hostel and went out everynight, it was awesome! We're now paying for it with hangovers and flus.
