Byron Bay is the most eastern part of Australia, famous for its relaxed atmosphere. Went surfing on the gorgeous beach. Walked to the lighthouse at Cape Byron, beautiful views of the bay + saw several dolphins swimming together in the sea.

Port MacquarieWalking in the nature reserve, where there are millions of bats and mosquitos! Also saw a huge waterdragon lizard. Went canoeing in the harbour and saw a couple of dolphins. Two day trip to the Blue Mountains, which are very near Sydney. Did lots of hiking along the top of the plateau admiring views of gorges, waterfalls and mountains. Walked down very steep steps to the bottom of the valley into the forests. Took the lazy way back to the top, on the worlds steepest railway!

Sydney is really awesome! Walked around the city, harbours and botanical gardens... all very beautiful. Went surfing on Bondi Beach which was so fun! Also took the ferry across the harbour to Manly Beach. The ferry ride had amazing views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
