Hiya guys, sorry were being so lazy but our excuse is were on 'Thai Time' so everything runs that much slower, the real reason is we been so busy, anyways i got quite a bit to write about so grab some coffee and a doughnut!
We eventually arrived in Ko Tao to do our diving course, it was amazing we both met loads of really nice people, made friends with instructors who basically came diving once and decided to live there! You can see why from the pictures especially the sunset. Me and laura passed with flying colours and decided to take the advanced level as it means we can dive on our own in Australia.
We did around 10 dives over the 6days, plus a little bit of classroom work! the deepest we went was 30meters, you can feel the pressure so much, we also did a night dive which was obviously pitch black apart from the fish and plankton etc everything is flourescent down there, we saw grey reef sharks, barracuda's huge sting rays and loads more although we were eluded by the whale sharks which are supposed to be mindblowingly huge!
Ko Tao is definately our favourite place in Thailand so far as it has the balance of heavy drinking nights and chilled out sunsets. Oh well I think that covers most of it. Cheerio
