Bon Carnaval! After an eventless 11 hour bus ride we arrived in Salvador in the early hours of the morning, called our property agent and before we knew it were very settled. Due to the excessive prices carnaval attracts we found that it was actually cheaper to get our own apartment than stay in a hostel....given what we were to experience over the next 10 days this was a wise choice! Boa tarde everybody! After an exhausting journey north out of Rio (18hrs!) we finally arrived in Porto Seguro. From here it was a short hop and skip via a taxi (4 in the back!) and a ferry to our final destination, Arraial D´ajuda! Hi everyone! Greetings from the fabulous Rio de Janeiro. We arrived here after a great flight from Iguazu Falls.
