Xmas Time: We are enjoying Xmas with Zoe & Gavin and his family. Zoe is Marks Neice who emigrated here 6yrs ago. So big reunion for them both. 19th- 21st Dec Queen Charlotte Track we are off to complete 3 day tramping adventure on the Queen Charlotte Track in the marlborough Sounds, We have back packers planned for 2 nights couldn't get 3 nights because everywhere else was fully booked. 29/11/05-04/12/05 Mount Manganui Beutiful white sandy beach, camp site at bottom of mt, sea is full of surfers, and the path are full of runners, joggers, meant to be the fitest people in NZ they take in the mt everyday. The surfers are like bees waiting for the right wave, we are sat having a beer in the sunshine some people just want to rush around all day. 21-28th Nov. Northland. Happy leaving Auckland city for the open spaces, Travelled up to Whangarei stopping off at Goat Island Marine Reserve took a glass bottom boat ride out around the Island Mark or I never wanted to get wet today weather bit cold & cloudy, Continued north along the coast road some tarmac roads others were gravel and very slow arriving at Whangarei for some diving at Poor Knights.
