Ah that better by the sea not so many people and only just 2 hours outside Chennai. We stopped over here to see the Shore Temple 5 Ratha's. We have a lovely room at our first guest house. Only rs600 per night

We visited the compund first temple carving dating back to the 7th century you would think we are templed out by now but NO they still are impressive in their own right. The balancing butter ball a great photo shot. The shore Temple as photo was as impressive but for me the 5 ratha's was the best only discovered 200years ago was in great condition. especially the elephant..

The beach here was cleaner but still could not get wet the sea was always rough, lots of gypsy people here trying to sell anything and everything you soon learn to be firm or they just dont go away. although I am a softy for the old and the young.

Great area for fresh fish restaurants tiger prawns the same size as an english lobster. sold individually by weight mmmhhh!!!
