Bula!!! Nov 7th -11th from Fiji 5 days of heaven, lovely place, lovely people. Staying at Horizon bacpackers, Nadi. Went out to stroll on beach after 26hr travelling only to get lost and bought back by a friendly local. (thanks) Visited local Island of Mana for 2 days diving and fun in the sun. Accomadation bit sparse due to fire week previous, stayed in tent with 2 others. had 2 dives with Reef Safari divers, interesting diving from a rowing boat with a motor mmH!! First Dive was reef coral bit bleached but only four of us on the bopat so plenty of space down there. Second dive was around pinnacle scenic dive more interesting of the 2. Local bus into Nadi town, 65cents about 20p it stops everywhere for the locals even drives along the beach. Air conditioned no windows!!! Got nicely robbed by the locals introducing us to Kuava local non alcoholic drink made up of roots and ginger strained through cloth into wooden bowl. Found the local working mans club for few beers. Out to Robinson Crusoe Island for weekend. So will be on next in NZ. 16/11/05
