12th 16th Sept Xi An

After a 12hr overnight  soft sleeper train we emerge feeling quite refreshed and hoping for it more success here. We are here specifically to see the Terracotta Warriors and being very careful not to jump on the first trip going. we learnt a lot in Beijing. We take local bus and do it all ourselves. Easy enough. WOW What an amazing place we enter through a beautiful park arriving at the entrance of the first pit. Here stands 6,000 warriors some restored and some still laying as they were discovered. The amazing characters stand just 1.8mtrs tall all in different expression to make them individual Pit no 2  Had a 1,000 warriors with horsed and carriages still visible Pit 3 was still being dug at night time to find another 600 warriors so far!!
