We set off for the day to explore Victoria. We made our way to the British Columbia museum, calling at staples on the way to look at mini laptops. The museum was too expensive so we went to the legislative buildings next door which are very impressive – but they were shut! We started our adventure to get to Vancouver Island! There was the option of getting a coach all the way there but it cost a lot of money for what it was so we decided to make our own way on public transport! We had to get to the underground station and take the train out of downtown to a station where we caught the bus down to the ferry. We had to move hostels this morning as there was no room for us! We moved our stuff over the road to another one with a huge stuffed moose in the window! Thursday 24th September We made the most of the free breakfast and filled up again! We then went and caught the Seabus over to North Vancouver to meet Jane (family friend). The Seabus is a catamaran that takes about 8mins to reach North Vancouver and leaves as regularly as every 10mins, as frequent as buses!!
