We caught a shuttle bus into San Francisco and by doing so, we crossed the Bay Bridge so got some good views of the city including the Golden Gate Bridge. We boarded the train bright and early and found our reserved seats which were pretty snazy! They had loads of leg room and had a thing to pull out to rest your legs on..makes sleeping easier..or its supposed to anyway! The train was very long and was double decker! We were up top so had good views! The train had a restaurant, a café, a games room and an observation carriage where you could go and sit with better views as the seats faced the window!
