Just arrived in Mumbai, not sure about this blogging thing so bear with me. After too many 'special' mai tais at Li Po Friday night, was concerned about the effects of such a long flight, but either No Jet Lag worked its magic, or Ambien did. The taxi ride to my hotel from the airport was brilliant, although I bonked my head on the handle above the window from staring out the window a bit too assiduously. Must get one of the beautiful outfits women here wear, they look so elegant and not a bit hot and sweaty. After sleeping almost all day, ventured out to walk a bit, am awed by both the vicious traffic and the bravery of pedestrians here. If I can stay awake, my first in-Mumbai bollywood film watching experience is next...
