Uncle Alan and Ruth took us to Phillip Island today. On the way we stopped at the Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne which is full of indigenous plants. Had a good walk around saw lots of interesting plants very different to ones at home. Then along the way we went to Cowes, did not see Aunty Nora though !! called in to an amazing Koala sanctuary and saw quite a few in the trees. Katie has some fantastic photos. Arrived in Melbourne and joined the very long queue at immigration. Finally having made it through quarantine we were met by Uncle Alan. We were amazed how he managed to fit us and the luggage in such a small car. Then back to the house to see Ruth and have breakfast. Then finally to the hotel for a quick bite to eat and bed.

Afternoon spent at Raffles, a bite to eat and drinks in the long bar. Adam had a Singapore sling of course, he said you just have to !!! Katie and I found it stressful putting all the monkey nut shells on the floor, it's the whole crumb issue. Now back to the hotel to wait for the transfer to the airport for our flight to Melbourne .

Last morning in Singapore, it's really hot already ! Took the MRT to Clarke Quay. It's amazing not only a spotless station and an air conditioned train but only 73 pence per journey.
