So, went off to see Ramsay street today, or should I say Pine Oak Crescent as it is really called.

I got picked up by the Neighbours bus this afternoon and we were driven to the Neighbours shop to pay. We had the pleasure of meeting Libby Kennedy, slightly gutted as the people who went in the morning met Susan Kennedy, however they couldn't actually go to the street as they were filming, were as we did go, so suppose it balances out.

Libby was lovely, very smiley and chatty, mind you it is her job. She signed our Neighbours postcards and we had a photo (see pics, I'm with Holly, a girl who I met at the Penguin parade). Next we drove off to Erinsborough high, which is a real school but to be honest, it didn't look like anything off the programme. Apparantly, they just pay the school everytime they want to film there................. very random set up. All the locals took great pleasure in laughing at the bus as we drove through Melbourne, I felt like a real tourist, I don't feel like that in Sydney anymore as I have been here for so long!

We then went and looked at Grease Monkeys and the garage. They only film the outside there, any inside filming is a set. We then went off to the street, which is a proper street in Melbourne, again any inside filming is done in a set, and no one is allowed to see the sets. So we are walking around Ramsay street and all the real residents are taking the fake numbers off their letter boxes and moving their cars back in as the filming has finished. The st. is really small. Apparantly, the real owners of the houses are not allowed out of their houses during filming and have to keep the curtains shut, they are also not allowed to make any external changes to their houses without permission. These house are worth the same if not less than the ones in the surrounding streets, as it may be cool to you and me to live there but actually its a massive inconvenience and a pain in the ass to have a few hundred tourists everyday photographing your house.................

so for the gossip:

Toady moves in with Steph, Boyd runs off with Sky, Ned and Jeanay get together, Rosie and the guy in the wheelchair (can't remember his name) get married, its Peppe's ex-boyfs mother who is doing the stalking.............. but you lot don't know what I am on about do you, as you are still months behind. You still have Boyds cheating, Stingrays death, Karl and SUsans marriage in London and Neil Morrisey as a priest - and yes its Karls baby!

Well, enough of all this soap rubbish, I am off for a big night out in melbourne with Holly.

Back to Sydney in a few days, then in 3 weeks I'm flying to New Zealand and Fiji.
