Hi Guys

Well time has finally caught up with us and we are into the last few days of what can only be described as an epic journey through 15 countries.The last few days in Port Blair were a little slow but now we are back on the Indian mainland in Chennai. When I say Chennai I mean the outskirts by the airport. If you have been following our blog you will know that we have checked ourselves into the 5 star Radisson for a couple of days of pure indulgence.

When we landed at Chennai our chauffeur was waiting for us and he had the full outfit complete with white gloves which we loved. The Shaw luck struck again and we found that they had upgraded us to a more expensive room with ambient lighting, flat screen TV, IPod docking station so you can play your music in the room and the bathroom and our own massage chair, our jaws nearly hit the floor. Because of the upgrade we get butler service as well as use of the sauna, jacuzzi and free foot massages plus exclusive access to the club lounge with free drinks and a hot chocolate to finish your evening off with. This is the only way to travel but I think if we would have stayed in places like this we would only have gotten as far as the US before having to turn around and come home at these prices!!!!!

Needless to say we are making the most of the experience and loving it and we have only been here 5 hours!!!!

In the private lounge they even have polo mints in tiny tubes which look ace!!!

Mel hasn't been able to contain her excitemant and at one point I thought she might collapse with the hyperventilating, it is a shame we only have two days here as we feel like we could spend a week and not get bored.

Sorry for the delirious spiel about the hotel but this is the best place we have stayed in ever and easily the best hotel on this trip. Will be in touch again tomorrow to let you know what we have been up to but we certainly won't be leaving the hotel that is for certain, unless they kick Mel out for staring at the cake counter too long!!!!
