Up ridiculously early this morning due to a dorm full of 20 year olds arriving home at 2.30am and switching all the lights on (come back private rooms)
We decided to make the most of our day and set off for Fishermans Wharf where we went and saw our friends the Sea Lions and followed this up with a 1 hour cruise around the bay including a ride under Golden Gate Bridge. After stopping for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe we thought we would have a walk up to Coit Tower. This is a tower built in memory of Lillie Coit, the lady who was saved in a fire in San Francisco then had a thing for Firefighters and became their mascot so when she left a third of her estate to the city they built the tower in 1933.Stopped for a couple of swifties on our way to the ballgame. The game was good but it really cools off in the evening and of course Barry Bonds was playing so Mel was happy. Took us 90 minutes to walk home from the game so we are ready for bed. We leave tomorrow evening on the Coast Starlight train for Eugene,Oregon another overnight train journey but our last in America, hopefully no delays!!!!
Will post again soon, thanks to porky for doing the pictures next bunch on the way soon.
Love M & M
