Travelling to singapore and singapour
ok i guess i should start with my lovely day of travel from switzerland on the family skiing holday, to sinapour. Firstly having to get up early, knowing you are going to spend the whole day travelling does not put you in the best frame of mind. But i wsnt that bothered as i would soon be properly travelling.
The goodbye at the airport was untearfull, for which i am eternally gratefull for( especially to mum). The flight from switserland was fine because i just slept. I arived at the fifth terminal at heathrow and thankfully my bags came out. i then had my day at heathrow which was spent eating, drinking and reading, accomapied with vast amouts of bordom. The flight out to singapour was great, i had 3 seats to myself, the airhostesses were all really good looking and i was finally on my way properly!!
When i arived in sinapour, i was expecting to be greeted by vicky, but she didnt have a clue which terminal i was at so i was a bit confused, but she did turn up eventualy. We then waited a couple of hours in the airport, for matt and jacks plane to arrive, which was all good but we didnt have a clue where they were flying in to either, so we spent another hour or so finding out.
The first thing i did to matt as we met up, was do exactly as caroline had told me, give him a big kiss (from her), i also gave jack a big hug so he didnt feel left out. We then got a taxi to Vicky's appartment, where we got showered and got ready to go out into sinapour.
Singapour looks pretty much the same as any other western city, with lots of high rises, and shopping malls. The one difference was the rain. as we were going out the weather was very humid but looking fine, but half an hour into the city, the heavens opened, and needless to say we got soaked. that evening we went out for a meal in china town , where i made i big error, i orderd a whole crab, never having eaten one before i didnt have a clue. It took me about an hour to eat it.
The next morning we left sinapour on a bus into malaysia, travelling to the town of melaka.
