Today we ventured off to new jersey to watch our first NFL game. We headed to penn station and saw a homeless man shaving his feet with a pedi egg and then found out platform.
Clearly we were unprepared as we boarded a party train at 10.45 with many fans and eskys drinking all the way to the stadium. We gathered by that point we were in for a big day.
We finally got to the stadium....wow. The tailgaters and band and bars were impressive enough and that was outside the stadium.
Once we got inside the atmosphere for this showdown game was indescribable. The fans for NY giants and Philadelphia eagles did not disappoint. Though one eagles fan spat down a giants fan's back, charming.
The game was amazing and we loved every minute. We drank and ate a lot of crap food but it was a lot of fun.
Once the game was over we headed back to NY. Then Paul and I went to pick up our NYE tickets...that was a bit exciting.
Tea was from wendy's again....now I say again as the girl at the counter remembered my name ( must go somewhere else tomorrow ).
Some hand washing completed the night which wasn't easy after drinking at the football but quite amusing.
