Today we headed to the bus station around 8am to catch the bus to Dubai for the day, the bus journey was pretty non-descript and took around 1hour and 30mins. During our brunch at the Fairmont on Friday we were given some vouchers for free entry to their beach club and decided to use them today. After a quick breakfast, followed by a taxi ride we were soon being welcomed to the private beach and given our first ice bucket full of bottles of water. As the work week runs from Sunday-Thursday here then Jen and Neil had headed off to work before we all got up, after a quick breakfast it was time to make use of the pool and sun deck facilities. The complex that the flat is in consists of two large towers consisting of over 65 floors each connected by a large pool deck. After the previous day's exploits, the morning was spent catching up on some sleep. Friday's in this region seem to be spent brunching, otherwise known as heading to one of the nicer hotels and having a posh buffet and a drink or two. After a relaxed morning we got ourselves ready and ordered a couple of taxis to take us to the Fairmont hotel for our first sample of the brunch experience.
