Day 2 - London/Lake Bled (Slovenia)
We make our way into Stansted airport ready to get the show on the road, after a couple beers we check in and get ready to board the SleazyJet plane.
As we're waiting to go through the gate a young boy runs back up the downwards escalator his dad gives chase but falls up the downwards heading escalator in comical fashion lots of people "ooh" and "ahh" except me .. i laughed haha! He gets some tissue from the airport staff for his bloody knees and elbows and then gives his kid a look that says "you're in trouble lad!" After we're all hearded onto the plane like cattle the flight isn't too bad (despite the fact it's 40 minutes late) just under 2 hours and we're then landing.
Ljubljana airport is pretty small nothing much to see or do we grab our bags and head out to be greeted by our taxi guy Graham, nice chap originally from Surrey but has lived in Bled for 10 years. True to form he's a United fan and he isn't from Manchester (These people give us a bad name!) anyways he shows us the small town of Bled, where we'll be heading for the wedding and finally to our hotel.
Bled is very picturesque lots of rolling hills, trees, huge lake and is very chilled it's all very European as you will see from some of the pics.
We go meet Carole, Moraig & Mick for tea in the worlds slowest restaurant (45 minutes to cook my pizza!) have a few beers and stumble back to the hotel for an early night in prep for the wedding tomorrow.
