Day 40 - Coolangatta

We awake after not much sleep due to lots of planes and people stomping around, have some of the free breakfast and jump on the free bus to the local mall.

The weather isn't as good today, a little cloudy but no rain as forecast.

We arrive at the mall and everything is in darkness which we later find out is due to massive black out and has affected the whole area. Eventually the power comes back on and we grab a coffee before starting out around the mall. It's quite a small mall but then again we are in a very small town and we can see just from walking around that everyone knows everyone else just like on neighbours or home and away!

After looking around the shops we grab some groceries to see us through the next few days and wait to be picked back up by the free bus.

We arrive back at the hostel and the weather soon turns and it starts throwing it down!

There isn't really much to do when you're next to a beach and its raining so we decide to buy some time on the internet and research more about Bali and the Gili's before calling it a night.
