On Tuesday 12th April we arrived in Sydney. We dropped off our hire car and went for a coffee and snack before booking in to the Cambridge Hotel. Our room was nice and big and had a large balcony.
We left the hotel to go to Sydney Harbour to have a look at the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. I was really excited to see these famous landmarks of the city. They are fantastic and I took lots and lots of photos of them. We sat in the Harbour and watched the sun go down over the Opera House and then went for an evening meal in The Rocks. This is a busy area of the city with lots of pubs and restaurants.
We walked back to the hotel very happy with our first afternoon in Sydney.
