Donna woke up feeling much better today, the worst of the cold seems to have left her thankfully. 16 hours later and Donna resurfaces to have her array of pills for breakfast. We showered and made ourselves slightly more human before heading out to investigate Salinas. Seriously hungover. Woke up late with a few minutes to gather our stuff and check out. Never a good combination. After a quick detour to Subways (which we have decided is the actual national dish, they are everywhere), we drove across town and over the Golden Gate Bridge. With our tickets already purchased we headed back up to the piers to catch our ferry to Alcatraz.
