We enjoyed Koh Samui, swam lots and bought too many heavy Thai souvenirs!We spent a day on a bumpy speedboat travelling around the Angthong Marine Park where we snorkelled and kayaked. The scenery here reminded us of Halong Bay in Vietnam. Parts of this area were used in the filming of "The Beach".

We continued our island hopping to Koh Tao where we stayed in the quiet Ao Muang (Mango Bay) in the north. Quite different to busy Chaweng Beach, we loved the peace, the beauty and the snorkelling here!

Koh Phangan was our next stop. We stayed in Hat Khom and spent many more hours snorkelling and hiked through the jungle to the next beach, Hat Khuat.

We loved our stay in gorgeous Koh Phi Phi where we did our best snorkelling. We will definitely be back before too long!

Last stop in Thailand was Phuket - we fly from here to England for a brief break in our hectic backpacking schedule! We have been lucky today with the weather and have enjoyed swimming and relaxing here in Kata Beach. It's just like an Aussie surf beach!
