Hello!

So the journey from Adaleide to Melbourne took only three days. I left Adaleide after a day off the bus. In that time i looked round the museum and the look out point. the museum was mostly all about the aborigional people and the australian wildlife. Very interesting. In total there was 8 of us from my last bus trip that carried on to Melbourne. It was fantasic. This was the part where we started the great ocean road. I got to see the 12 apostles in day light and sunset. Amazing! Firstly though we were in the region of the granpions, one of the oldest mountin ranges. Of course you guessed it, i got to climb two of them. Fantasic views from the top but hard work going up! The second afternoon we actuallt reached the great ocean road. we started off by seeing the Lock-Ard and hearing the story about how it sank. We saw all the beautiful scenary and rock formations in the sea. The final stop of the day was the 12 apostles. The following morning we went to see the caves where Tom and Eva (the only survivers of the ship wreck the lock-ard) found shelter. As we drove along the road we spotted wildlife like kangaroo's and we even stopped to see koarlas. Fantastic! The final destination for this trip was Melbourne. I spent a total of four days here to see the sights and visit an old friend that lived there. Whilst there i walked round the botanical gardens and round the city. the atmosphere was really relaxed about the whole city. I really liked it.

For the next trip we were down to three. Myself and two danish girls from the origional outback bus. We still had a good time though. The route took us trhough some national parks to spot kangaroo's. there was a lot of driving on this trip but we went via some interesting places and look outs. We were in the mountins for a lot of it. the smowy mountins actually had ski slopes with real snow on them. i was suprised by this as i didn't realise australia got snow! On the last day we visited Canbrra, the capital city of australia. When there we had a tour round the houses of parliament. they were huge! we also drove round the international embassy's to see the building for each company. the final destination was Sydney!!!!!!

Sydney is a great place. there is always things going on. I have spent nearly a week here and still not seen it all. On the first day i walked round the markets and went upto the sky tower for sunset. here there was a good view of the harbour bridge. The next day i went to see billy elliot at the theatre, which was amazing. the dancing was excellent but the accents were a little strange, but i cen forgive that. That evening i unsuccessfully tried to find hillsong church but ended up in the completely wrong place. so i took a wal round the opera house and harbour bridge to see all the lights at night. the opera house is truelly stunning!!!! Sunday i did a day trip to the blue mountins where i did a waterfall sight seeing walk and saw kangaroo's very up close. The following day i went to walk across the harbour bridge and caught the ferry to manly beach. it was a shame the weather was not good. rain rain rain! That evening we spent walking round darling harbour a very chilled out classy place. On tuesday morning i had to say goodbye to my friends as they were flying out. i took myself to coogee beach and did the walk to bondi. a very famous beach and interesting place to look round. and success, there was some suinshime at last! i jumped on the train and headed for newcastle to see an old friend from eccleshall who lives there. It was a greta evening of dinner and catching up. A bit of comfort from home. Today i caught the train cack after a tour of newcastle and breakfast with sarah. I treated myself to the aquaruim. What a great sight to see. i loved it and am glad i saved it till last. there are so many species of fish and wildlife there. i loved the shark tank! Tonight is my last evening before i leave on the oz experience tomorrow. This time the first stop is surf camp!
