Hi All, I have just gotten back from my village tour around San Cristobal and it was great. We went to Chumul Indigenous Village and it was quite an eye opener. First of all we went to the cemetary and Mayan Church and then to the Chumul Church. Hola, Went to the Palenque Ruins yesterday with a local guide and learnt alot about the Mayan History. Only 5% of these ruins are uncovered in this area, the other 95% are still covered under vegetation yet to be discovered.
