heyy, its been a while and a lot of stuff has been going on here, quite a lot of bad stuff aswell, but ill start from the beginning! The hostel in Barceliona didnt have very good computers so this website didnt work and i couldnt update from there so i willl try to not miss out anything!

So we arrived in Barcelona earlier than we had anticipated because the night train was canceled and we had to get the day train. we went to our hostel to see if they could have us for that night and they only had a double room so we slept in there for a noght and then moved to the hostel the next day. Barceloina was cool, ive been there before and kinda knew my way around which was a bonus!

On our first day we went to the aquarium whicvh was cool, troo expensive and it hindight we shoulkdnt have goine, but it looked realkly good and they had this moving tube through this massive tank that moved you through which i liked! quite different! and there was loads of other fish and sharks. I love aquariums becuase it reminds me of scuba diving and stuff! and i feel really clever when i know about the fish!

After that we wandered up las ramblas and watched all the street artists which were amazing! it was like watching some free shows! really cool. then we just ambled around looking at the gothic quarter and stuff. it was rteally nicve, but i must say that bercona is one of my least favourite cities, far too big and impersonal. Back at the hostel 2 guys asked us if we wanted to go the the irish pub below for food, so we went and they were quite wierd, but we appreciated them asking us!

The next day we went to the sagarda famillia which was really spectacular! its not yet fully built and i really want to go back when it is becuase I can tewll it is going to be immense! gaudi designed it ages ago and its still in the making! we took the lift up to the top of one of the towers and looked over the sity which was really nice. then we walked around the whole circumference of the building and took photos etcccc. after that we walked the long way round via a few other gaudi buildings, but none were as good as the sagarda famillia.

then on the thrist day we got the train out to figueres and went to the dali museum. yet again i have alreade been here, but my memory was so good, and it çdefinitaly is the best museum i have ever been to so i didnt mind going again. it was amazing, spent a long time just trying to work out loads of the painings and stuff. and i really like the car outside that has a manikin inside and it rains on the inside. i dont really understand it, but it was cool nonetheless!

so then on our supposed last day, we wandered around a little bit more, saw some more of the ramblas then just huing out on the beach for the rest of the day.

then that night we were meant to be getting a ferry to ibiza, so we went to the port and to the corrent terminal, and waited. we got there early to be sure that we wouldnt miss it or nothing could go wrong. it seemed reaslly wierd, and there was nobody in the terminal building, but someone else that was waiting said that the ferries were sometimes late so we should just wait until people came. so we waited and waited. and eventually realised that it wasnt looking good and the boat still wasnt there etccc. then a man came and told us that the boat had gone an hour ago from another terminal. oh goodness was i angry! not only had the boat left earlier that it was meant to, but from the wrong terminal. and at this time it was nearly midnight and we had nowhere to stay that night and no way of getting to ibiza. evetually we decided just to go to the airport and decide what top do from there. so we get there and everything is closed and we just found a corner and tried to go to sleep in it. no very succesfully! at 4am they opened the ticket sales office and i tried to get us on a flight to ibiza for that day, but it was full and the onlky way for us to get here would ahev been to wait another day. so we did. but the flight was timed so that it wasnt worth booking into another hostel for tyhat night, but to just hang around for the day. big mistake! we had already had one sleepless night! 2 was not much better! so we just took our bags and went to the beach for the day again. we got there and it was quite cloiudy and stuff and i fell asleep, woke up really burnt and i am so annoyed! my nose really hurts at the moment! i dont like getting burnt! so we were stupidly tired and then started to head back to the airpoert at about 10pm. when dug started being violently sick, it must have been the tiredness or some bad food or something, but it was not very nice! foir either of us! we managed to get ot the airport though eventually, with dug stopping very often to be sick. but we managed it and arrived here this morning tired and just wanting to go home and to our beds. Possibly tyhe worst day ever yesterday! vbut hopefully we can bounce back and enjoy ourselkves while we are here! tonight though i think we might just sleep. i have never been so tired in all my life! but im happy now, feeling a bit better, and dug is nice and healthy again, well sort of, i think we maybe need a little bit more sleep!

so yeah, i just want to go home really, to get into my bed and eat some real food! its different travelling here, i do want to be home, whereas in thailand i just never wanted to leave!

so yeah, not long now!
