Hallo from Krakow!
We arrived here yesterday and I'm not quite sure I can remember when I last updated so I will start from my arrival here is Krakow.
We got the train and it was a stupidly long journey, and the second part we didnt get a reservationa nd then got really scared that we would get arrested, but braved it anyway and then this polish man was like gimme some money anbd we had no polish money ahnd it was quite scary, but we managed it! and only had to pay like 4 euros anyway, which is hardly a fine!
so we then go to krakow and realised that dug had lost the information to tell us where our hostel was, so we just wandered around (it was like 11pm) and luckily we found it relatively easily! our hosetl is amazing, like so laid bac and everyone is really nice and stuff. there are poseters all over the walls with stuff like crazy things and wierd writing. like a little sign sith a picture of a kettle saying "make tea not love" on it, and other crazy stuff! it well good, but nothing comopared to berlin. its quite empty and i really miss everyone i met there, like laods. This would be the oerfect place ifeveryone was here. in our room there is another guy who is canadian and he is friends with alexisonfire and its crazy!
so yeah anyway, we went to sleep quite early last night and today have been wandering around the city, it is the prettiest town I have ever been to. we went to the old town centre with the cloth hall that was like an old market but it was really decorated. then we went to this cathedral that was so immense! it was actually the most extravagant and beatiful i think i have ever seen, and that is not an exxageration! i think it had the largest altar in europe, and it was so gorgeous! we sat for ages, it was just so vast and intricate that it was so hard to take in, and i tried taking photos but some scary polish man came over and told me off and i thought he was going to take my camera and didnt want that! so i stopped! after that we went down to underneath the old town hall that used to be tortue chambers but are nbow acafe, and we had a drink there. then we went to the castle and the "dragons lair" which was pretty cool. then we sat looking over the lke for a while. it was just so pretty and I really like this city. its possibly the first city that i have only liked on the city itself, in comparison to berlin which i lied maily for the people i met and the history of the town.
tomorrow i am going to aushwitz which i am looking forward to in a strange way, i really want to see it. and dug is talking to a canadian guy next to me about going out tonight, so who knows whats going to happen!
will update soon, interent is free in this hostel!
lots of love xxx
