First time I slept at the same place twice in a row last night since I left home. Spent Two nights in Penang now and I'm right now on my way home... Well sort of, going to KL for the last night with Farid and then heading on towards melbourne tomorrow. Looking forward to Australia like crazy after an amazing time in Malaysia.
I've fed monkey out of my bare hand, been to the biggest temple in all of south-east asia, seen the petronas towers, had drinks in a pool in one of the coolest clubs ever, stayed in a five star hotel, drank beer on the beach, accidentaly been in to a prostitute club, and all the food i've tasted and things i've seen... My god, it has been an interesting start of the journey.
And all in all, i've spent less than 2000 SEK so far and will probably end up around 2200 SEK before I leave the country, including entrance tickets, food, booze, enough gas to go across just about the entire country back and forth.
It has not been a relaxing, lie on the beach-sunbathing holiday so far but that is not nearly what I expected or wanted.
The next time i come to this part of the world I'll have to visit the entire region, go snorkling with turtles, ride on elephants, party like a rockstar and everything else you expect of Thailand, Vietnam, Kambodja.
China and Japan will be a chapter of their own when I really have the time to go in-depth in the land. And thats all for today, soon the first part is done. Wish me luck on the next one, I've already been booked in for a drag boat race om Sunday, a football match on monday and now I am even officially threatened that if I dont make it over to the west coast i will be experiencing dire consequenses. So australia is gonna be packed, just the way it should be.
