So finally arrived at Cusco, after a nightmare 11hrs drive, and im still s***ting through the eye of a needle. It is the longest travel day so far, 12 hrs drive, 7hrs drive there, 3hrs at the canyon and 5 hrs drive to Chivay. Arrived at Arequipa late and spent the first night in as still recovering from my self inflicted alcohol poisioning. Then spent the next day walking around the city marvelling at its great colonial architecture.
