We travelled deep into the desert to visited the Chauchilla cemetery which is made up of a number of open graves with all of the remains on display, which is really erry and feels wrong. So with most of the group having a hangover from hell, we made your way from Pisco, to the Ballestas Islands where we took a speed boat around the island. The island is famous for the amount of wildlife that inhabiltes it such as sea lions, penguines, and mass amounts of birds and with birds come birds poo and how is smelt. Apparantly, it is someones job to once a month clear all the birds poo off the rocks and they sell it as fertilliser, what a crap job that is...

So all 32 of us set off from Lima, headed to Pisco, which we call 'piss all to do', as it was a little town with little or nothing to do there, except sit around drinking the local drink 'pisco sour' which was fine with me. It was one of the new lads birthday so we all made our own fun doing drinking games and get to know each other. The next month is definately going to be a ball as most of the group are up for a laugh and there are some real party animals...

We leave Huanchanco with a little trepidation as we are gaining another 20 group member at Lima, so the dirty dozen will be no more and the group will now be 34. Thats a lot of people, dont know how I feel about it as I really liked our small group as we felt like a little family. Now theres gonna be alot of personalities all competing against each other. Huanchanco is a sleepy little fishing village, and like all good fishing villages it serves the best seafood and its so cheap, huge plates of assorted seafood for under 5 pounds-delicious, yummy!!! But other than eat seafood and lazy by the pool, yer pool, the hotel we are staying at has a great little pool which is ideal to lazy around sipping cocktails-heaven!!! So we all spent the three days here doing very little except relaxing. Its a hard life..... ...
