Sorry its been so long since I updated wedsite, but ive been on the move constantly for the last few weeks. So where were we......Oh yes Fort Lauderdale in Florida..... I stayed only one night in Fort Lauderdale as arrived early and leaving late so had two days to discover what it has to offer. Stayed in an amazing hostel, just 10 min on bus to main sights, but best of all was not the location but the facilities the hostel offered. For just $25 (15pound) a night, I was sharing a female apartment with 3 others, with is own ensuite, fully equiped kitchen and livingroom/dinningroom equiped with tv. To top it off the hostel had a great pool and bbq area, which I made full use off. Beers by the pool on a beautiful sunny day-bargain, that else could I want! Fort Lauderdale is a millionnaires playground. It is so beautiful here, similar to Miami with its white sandy beaches and clear blue waters, but Fort Lauderdale is cleaner that Miami, its a more sanitised version of Miami. You can just feel the money here. Along the harbour area is where the money is. Running the length of the marine area is where the million/billionnaires live. Mansions like you can only imagine line the harbours area. Lined with yacht, well should really call them mini cruise liners, outside their mansions, whereas normal folk would have cars outside their homes. These people know how to live in style. Oh to be rich.....We can dream. I was hoping to find me a sugar daddy whilst out here but to no avail......prehaps Ill meet one on the grey hound on my long journey to Las Vegas (65hrs-3 1/2 days on the bus-arghhhhh!!!!)
