Finally arrived at Anaheim, after a 2 1/2 day bus journey with little or no sleep. But no time to sleep now as it 8am and we are going to drop the almight at the hotel/motel then hit Disneyland resort. So despite being soooo tired we headed towards the resort. Anaheim is an odd place, similar to Orlando, the only thing going for the town is the resort and that a resort it is. The resort is made up of two main sections, Disneyland and California adventure. We spent the whole day covering the two parks and to be honest with you they left me still wanting, they were not as good as I expected them to be. The California Adventure reminded me of a local amusement/theme park as the rides there generally old and not as hi tech as I imagined them to be, so for those of you that are thrill seekers, I would not advise you to go there. As for Disneyland, that was much better, as the park is so over the top that you will have a blast just woundering around in awe, but again the rides are not as hi tech as I expected. But all said and done, we had a great day and had such a laugh and it allowed me to be kid again, running from ride to ride. I may have enjoyed it more had I not come straight off a 2 1/2 day bus journey, with little or no sleep. So I slept like a baby in a really nice double bed in a really nice room. So all in all a FAB day. The next day we got up early to head to Las Vegas, Sin City. Lets see if Sin City lives up to all the tales......
