Hi everyone Well we have just had a relaxing few days here in Auckland. Today we got the train into town and caught the ferry to Devonport where we took a guided bus trip to find out about the island, then relaxed down at the beach after having lunch. Deveonport is the naval base in Auckland and very english - art deco style. Lovely building full of character and very interesting history. Hi everyone Well here we are in kiwi country. Arrived at 3.40pm Sydney time but of course they are two hours ahead so we are now 13hours ahead of home. Hotel is in Ellerslie very nice, had dinner here last night then tried to find our bearings. We are 10mins from the harbour and there is a Reggata going on there today so thats where were heading.
