Hey Guys in Greymouth atm and like its name its quite Grey not as pretty as the other towns ive been to but a couple of shops and a walk to the beach soon.
Doing quite boring work- cleaning the bathrooms, kitchen, toilets. I never understand why mens toilet stink so much! why cant men aim right! DO NOT like cleaning the Gents. The hostel is quite nice though has 2 turtles living in the tv room in a large tank. Because im staff i get to borrow some dvds so so far ive watched slumdog millionaire, Sex in the city movie but the american dude who i dont know his name feel a bit rude asking him after speaking to him a couple of times whos sharing my dorm kept coming and ruining it for me and kept talking through it. then he put on a horrible aleien movie last night which was rather horrible so had weird nasty dreams last night.
The Journey to Greymouth was quite cool. Pretty left early in the morning so watched the sun rising over the mountins and lakes and then went past a bit glacier. also stopped at a pretty waterfall. The driving the bus picked me up first from my queenstown accomdation and i found out he was from up north been in nz for 21 years telling me he knew the guy in charge of the hostel im staying at and kept stopping all the way so we could take photos. Then halfway we stopped for lunch at a salmon farm and i had a yummy freah smoked salmon sandwich then we got a new bus driver and he was a grumpy man and a awful driver- swearing under his breath all the journey and shouting bloody cyclists, bloody tourists. Dont think he enjoyed his job very much!
Able to go on the internet if i come to the libarary luckily as the hostel internet rather expensive. Doing ok for food cooked a little which is a big shocker for me- need my ashy back to cook for me!
Though there are quite a few 'slow' people in Nz as ive been sitting here the lady next to me are really annoying have been talking in the loadest voice possible about a feind of hers who goes back to her ex for sex even though she has a new boyfriend- getting rather annoying and she's started going into detail. feel like leaning accross and giving her a big slap keeps distracting me from my writing. There was a man couple on the bus to greymouth who also were quite slow and kept wanting to talk to me for hours telling me that i should move to nz and get a job doing fashion over here as told them im doing costume design at uni- nothing about fashion! lol! but never mind.
Hopefully will be back in a couple of days when i have something interesting to blog about- hopefully i wound be cleaning toilets for the rest of the 2 weeks otherwise might move on to nelson. easy to go and meet ash from christchurch if i stay here though so not sure what i will do. Feel free to email me to keep me entertained. i love having new news from back home.
