A mental journey to Helsinki, the ferry journey from Aland was realy nice through all the smaller islands. We arrived in turku in Finland by the evening and it was bloody cold, really cold! we only had a little while to get from the ferry to the train station and we couldnt find a taxi or bus to take us. We hit the road and started walking, after an hour of getting lost and asking directions, our eye lashes had frozen together and lukes hair was frozen, we made it to the station.

We got on the train after grabbing a coffee, at this pont i went to the toilet only to return to find luke in a power stance holding a drunken mans arm up in the air who was trying to take his hat, a couple more drunks came on but after seeing the maher come out of the loo they new they were in for trouble so headed off fast (the drunks were dragged of the train)

We arived late in helsinki found our hostel and past out!

The next day we hit the town hard as we new we were only staying for one day, due to reasons i will describe below. We jumped on the trams and saw all the sights recommended, churches ice sculpture and a bridge of love with locks atached to it (Have a look at the pics)

At this point we had been planning to head in to St petersburg via train from Finland. We were supposed to meet Lukes friend Natasha who lives in St P but it happened to be that she was in Tallinn, Estonia this weekend, After she said how amazing it was In Tallin and in the hostel we thought we would head over on the ferry and then head into Russia from Estonia on the bus.

Waking up early we headed to the ferry!
