Woke up and it was quite warm for a change. We set off at half 9 towards Greymouth. On the way we stopped at another Blow Hole and the Pancake Rocks. I think this is the best blow hole I've seen by far, the water in and around it was mental, it was gushing up in to the air and making such a loud noise.

We drove to Barrytown and were going to stop to get a pie for lunch, but by the time we had seen the sign for it we had already driven through it and out the other side, it consisted of about 5 buildings, so we decided to carry on towards Greymouth. We got there, parked up outside the police station and got all the info from the info site. We drove off to the lookout, worst lookout ever, and then drove back in to town and used the free wi-fi in the library. Coops and I chilled out in the Camper while the others used the library wi-fi for the whole afternon. We then drove in to the back of Caltex which turned out to be a really s***ty camp site so we jumped out to use the showers and then emptied the waste and filled up with water.

We drove to Fresh Choice to get a weekly big shop and then parked up in the free parking zone the other side of the river. There was a huge camper van there that was actually shaped like a house.

We got up early for once so that the others could make more use of the internet in the library. I went for a wander along the river and out to the sea front to look for dolphins. The only one I managed to see was a concrete statue. I got back in to town and the others were still waiting to use the internet so I spent an hour on the phone and sat in the sun.

We spent the rest of the day driving. We stopped at Reefton and finally at Hanmer Springs in the evening where we parked up in a layby.
