Okay I´ve been in Matapalo now for 2 weeks and I do enjoy it now it took some getting used to but now im really enjoying the whole doing nothing lifestyle. Basically the day consists of getting up early, which im not a big fan of but oh well, going to the school organising a few football matches for them and making sure they don't kill each other, then coming back around lunch time and chilling on the beach, perhaps going for a surf. The school is really cool the kids are absolutly mad, all hyped up on sugar, but its really cool helping them pout and today we sat in on an english class and helped them with that which was preety cool. I went on a turtle patrol the other day with the legendary scouse rich, his patrols are supposed to be the most hard core, and boy does that guiy walk fast some people had to jog to keep up with him, i was okay with my ridiculosly long stride! Unfortunatly we didn't see any turtles or find any eggs that night but a couple of days ago i did watch 4 baby turtles being released into the sea which was a definate experience. At the weekend we went down to Uvita, another small town on the coast with a national park. You had to pay to get on the beaches! But it was deffinatly worth it they were better than the ones at Manuel Antonio, and one of them was shaped like a whales tale. The day after some of our group went whale watching, i opted out as id already seen them in Oz and moneys tight at the mo, so i went to the water fall at Uvita, met a girl from london who was working there, really dont know how you'd get a job there or how they can chrge you to go to a water fall thats not national park but oh well. After that i had possibly the best Pizza ive had since ive been away it was lush. Our bus back didnt turn up so we hitch hiked back, no not really (I put that in there just to scare you mum) We had to get the bus to the closest town and get a taxi from there which was a bit of a waste of money. I've had to stay one more week here as the project i was going to switch to is having some sort of celebration so all the volunteers have had to leave. I'm not that bothered now cause i quite like it here now but im definatly traveling for my last week....
