12/11/07 - 14/11/07 Wizard of Oz Backpackers

I came to Coogee last time I was in Oz and due to some unplanned sever sunburn of the feet had ended up staying longer than expected. Luckily history did not repeat itself this year and miraculously I am still sunburn free (touch wood!). Anyway last time I was here I absolutely loved the place, so definitely wanted to come and check it out again!

Coogee is really pretty and has some really good walks to other beaches as well as Five-O's, a pub which serves some great $5 meals... mmmm! and it's only about 15mins by bus from the city.

We spent our time here chilling out on the beach, drinking at the CBH (Coogee bay Hotel) and taking advantage of Five-O's $5 meals. We also visited bondi junction to find some smarter clothing in preparation for getting ourselves a job.
