We booked a trip to white island which took 2 hours by boat to get there, it's a live volcano under and above water. On our way there we got to see a school of dolphins surrounding our boat it was the most we've ever seen and we didn't have to pay to see them! When we arrived at the volcano it was strange seeing a live volcano, there was boiling mud and smoke bubbling up from the ground and big craters filled with boiling hot water. We had a tour of the island for about an hour and a half, it was so good to see but once again it stunk of eggs! We had face masks to help us breath at times as the sulphur was strong and made it difficult to breath, years ago miners lived here to mine suphur, we don't know how they done it!
