Hey everyone Rotorua is famous for the hot water pools, we went to the polynesian spa which was made up of lots of these pools. It was heaven sitting in big pools which felt like hot baths the tempertaure ranged form 36 to 44 degrees! While we were relaxing we could look over the Rotorua lakes and take in the pretty views. The pools were all naturaly heated by the region's thin crust in the earth but it makes a smell like rotten eggs which was the only let down ...

We did a trip to Waitomo caves with rap, raft and rock which includes absailing 27m into a hugh cave which was pretty scary, then we walked into a cave that was full of water until we came to a 400sqmetre cavern where we saw hundreds of glow worms. Hello We booked to do a walk called the Tongariro crossing which is a 19.4km walk through the four seasons, it involved walking up craters where the highest point is 1886 metres which is still an active and steaming vent.
