hello again! We arrived in the jungle and we booked a tour.A two day one night trek. We started off on the canopy walkways which were tied to the top of the trees which were really high, it was quite scary as they were really wobbly and creeky.We then went on a boat for an hour up to the top of the jungle where we were going to start our trek. The first day we walked 8km through the thick jungle while being chased by leaches but luckily we had our deet! We arrived at the cave which we spent the night and it was a really big dark cave, where animals such as elephants and cats as well as creepy crawlys visited. We made a fire and helped cook our dinner on a gas burner. We slept on mats and smelly,dirty sleeping bags on the floor! We didnt get much sleep as it was scary.

The next day we bathed in the river and set off for the next part of our trek. We walked another 8km and we had lunch by the river. When we finally made it to the end we had to get a boat back through the rapids and got soaked by our guide, it was like we just jumped into the river!
