Arrived in a small town with our car Sid. Booked a whaling tour for the next day at 7am. Weather was a bit stormy but still managed to do the tour. Pretty amazing - saw 2 sperm whales called Little Nick and Noodles quite near to the boat. Fantastic experience although our stomachs didnt think so! Not much else to do in Kaikoura so watched the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (for research purposes of course)!!! Headed north to the wine region
