We travelled from Noosa to Byron Bay on Wednesday and entered a new state and time zone. The journey took most of the day so when we got there we just chilled out in our room. We were in an apartment with 2 dorms of four people and a lounge and kitchen so was much better than a normal dorm.

We spent our time in Byron Bay looking around the shops - we're getting fed up of our clothes so treated ourselves to a few new things! - and relaxing. We did go on a daytrip to Nimbin on one of the days though. This is a strange hippy town about an hour outside Byron and we were taken there by a crazy but funny man on his bus. When we were there we also stopped at Minnyen waterfalls which were really nice.

There is a nightclub called Cheeky Monkeys opposite the place we were staying so we went there one night with Natalie and Catherine (our friends from Fraser Island trip). Unfortunately Catherine got thrown out for being too drunk so the night didn't last too long. Not the end of the world though as the place wasn't the best! We came back and had tea and toast istead.
